Prius sightings

April 13, 2011
Work Wheels USA has just updated their website's gallery with a photo of the Prius.

Wraptivo also posted up a photo on their Facebook page of the Prius at this past weekend's Formula Drift Long Beach event.

Decided to take some slightly better photos of the Prius' interior outside in the sunlight today.  Since I no longer own an SLR, my Epic 4G is about the only camera I easily have access to.  Car will hopefully be shot by Super Street sometime in the near future, and after the feature runs I'll get something up on Tunerzine including photos of the wrap install and some write ups.  Check out more photos of the interior after the break.

Prius interior is done!

March 7, 2011
Just picked up the interior for the Prius from Brian Garin over at Infinite Auto Design and I must say it looks great.  It fits the theme of the car perfectly, just simple and clean.  I didn't want to go too extravagant since at the end of the day it's still a Prius and not a Mercedes.  I will work on getting some better photos to post up soon.

Some new photos of the (dirty) Prius

February 17, 2011
Picked up my car from HKS on Monday with some new goodies. The Matte White Wraptivo Aimgain Tunerzine Prius is now sporting a set of HKS Hipermax S-Style II coilovers and their Racing Suction intake kit. The car was previously dropped on TEIN H-Tech springs, but with the kit and wheels, the stance just couldn't cut it anymore. A huge thanks to RJ de Vera for setting it up with HKS, and a huge thanks to Ryan and Jon for taking care of the car and giving it the look and handling capabilities it needs. I'm well aware the Prius isn't exactly a sports car, but having a nice set of suspension sure makes the drive a little more lively. The interior is currently gutted out of the car and at Infinite Auto Design to get reupholstered with a fancy double-diamond stitched pattern in preparation for its photoshoot with Super Street.

Check out more photos after the break.

When I first got the Prius, I didn't really have any expectations to modify it.  I was hoping it would be the ideal car to just leave alone, pay the payment and drive around.  It didn't take too long for me to get bored of it (surprise, surprise) and I started looking back at photos from Tokyo Auto Salon 2010 to get some ideas of what to do to the car.  After some ideas and going back and forth and contacting several people I have relationships with, I was able to build the Prius that's seen here.  Since these photos were taken, the Prius has been updated with some HKS goodies, including their Hipermax S-Style coilovers and their racing induction intake kit.  I'll be taking some new photos of the car and updating it soon.  See the specs after the jump.
